Last month, my little girl turned 1! I'll skip the clichés like, "Time flies by!" but it was truly a great and happy moment for us. For over a year now, she has filled us with joy and pride. My little girl is very independant and adventurous, she is curious and cheerful, friendly and smiling. We call her Little Monkey all the time, so when came the time to make her her very first birthday card, I knew the little monkey stamp from Zoo Babies was going to be perfect!
I knew I wouldn't need an envelope so I went for a bigger sized card. Of course, I could have made a custom envelope but I didn't need it this time. The card measures about 5" by 6½" (I don't remember exactly...), that way I had room for even more monkeys!
I chose the Tip Top Taupe ink for the monkey and then stuck with In Colors ink by adding Cucumber Crush for the leaves and Watermelon Wonder to match the DSP. It was very easy to customize the card for a first birthday with the Little Letters and Little Numbers Thinlits.
